Titles

Traitor

The Turner Chronicles: Book 1

Last Chance - a small town set on the edge of the far frontier. It is a place of gentle manners and common civility. After all, it should be since more than three quarters of its residents are women. However times change when a Talent Master runs rampant, savages threaten war, and an illegal militia from an alternate universe plans invasion and empire. A hero is needed. A Savior. Meet Aaron Turner, the small unassuming man who runs the Last Chance General Store. He is this town's–this world's–only hope. Unfortunately for the town, Aaron also happens to be a soldier and Militia spy whose job is to prepare the ground for the Militia's invasion. To help him with this task, he has a cellar filled with advanced weaponry and the unique ability to teleport between the two worlds. However after a year of living within Last Chance, Aaron is no longer sure in which direction his loyalties lie.

Betrayed

The Turner Chronicles: Book 2

The War is over. Isabella has won, and the Talent Master is dead. Aaron Turner now lives in N'Ark, Isabella's capital, where he mourns his murdered wife and son. All he wants is to tip a bottle, stare at walls, and recover.

But they won't leave him alone.

The Isabellan government and slavers both want him dead. Savages look to him as their prophesied savior. His lawyer wants to control him. His neighbors and friends have been murdered, and a once dead shaman declares him a servant of her One God.

Aaron has to make things right. His honor demands it.

Dusting off his guns, he sets aside his grief, readies his Talent, and declares a one man war against a nation that has betrayed him, the Clan, and itself.

Pawn

The Turner Chronicles: Book 3

In Betrayed, Aaron Turner defied politicians, defeated child slavers, and saved an entire people from exploitation by Isabella, his adopted country. Now, ten years later, he and Isabella have parted ways. Aaron has moved across the ocean to Jutland, intending to run a men's clothing store in the small city of Galesword.

Crusade

The Turner Chronicles: Book 4

Three years after being named the Chin emperor Aaron Turner is busy building a new capital city and hiring archeologists, two endeavors he could happily pursue for the next several years. Unfortunately, his divided empire is close to war, assassins are trying to kill him, entire nations want his head, and a Talented prophet has declared a multinational religious crusade against him. Offsetting these threats are Aaron's ill prepared army, inferior weapons, questionable generalship, and the insight of Delmac, a Clan savage who has wanted Aaron dead for nearly twenty years.

What his enemies don't know is that Aaron Turner really is The One God's Chosen, called Bringer, known as Death, and he is righteously pissed off.
