Porcupine Passions

Porcupine Passions and Porcupine Passions 2 are serialized stories about anthropomorphic animals. They are spin-off stories of the audio drama series The Beach Bears.

A ten-part story about the friendship of two adolescents. It takes place between chapters 54 and 76 of The Beach Bears.

This story tells of the character, Bobby Thornbody, as he struggles with feelings he has for his close friend Dipper, and how, with some help from his dad and guardian, he finally tells him. The final chapter of this audio story becomes a retelling of Chapter 76 of the above story, told from Bobby's point of view.

A prequel to The Beach Bears, taking place approximately one year before chapter 1 of the story.

The story is told mainly by Bobby's father, Sam, and tells of how he has to move himself, his wife and his son from Huntington, West Virginia, to Atlanta, Georgia, to accommodate a client for his job. This creates an issue for Bobby, who really doesn't want to leave the home or friend, namely Dipper, that he has there. There's also a piece of news that Bobby is given that forces him to make one of the biggest decisions of his life.

Episodes are mostly narrated by one person, but some contain multi-cast performances with some sound effects. Some chapters deal with mature and emotional themes.
