 +**The Hitch-Hiker** is a modern adaptation of a classic radio theater production originally written by Lucille Fletcher and broadcast on the //Orson Welles Show// on CBS Radio on November 17, 1941. The story was also adapted for an episode of //The Twilight Zone// in 1960.
