Escape Pod X is a multimedia project from the Interstellar Broadcasting Corporation, a performing arts ensemble composed primarily of Middlebury College students and alumni. Loosely structured as a “serialized anthology” that consists of a blog, multiple Twitter feeds, and a podcast. The blog chronicles the trials and tribulations of Captain Robert Clarke who, following the destruction of his ship, floats through the galaxy in his crippled escape pod. Captain Clarke is desperate to communicate with anyone he can reach, in the hope that doing so will lead to rescue. The podcast component of Escape Pod X contains vintage and original audio dramas hosted by Captain Clarke.
